Mosbey Roofing is a locally owned and operated roofing business servicing Albury-Wodonga, North East Victoria and the Riverina. Founded by brothers Matt and Joel Mosbey, who bring over 20 years of combined industry experience, we specialise in re-roofs, new roofing, commercial projects and repairs. We pride ourselves on delivering quality workmanship, honest service and strong communication, with our directors actively involved in every project from quote to completion.

The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Roofing Leading Hand to join our team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being on the tools, leading by example and mentoring apprentices. You'll be responsible for overseeing a small crew, maintaining high workmanship standards and ensuring projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well and wants to be part of a business for the long term.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise 3 apprentices
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Coordinate daily site activities to ensure projects run efficiently
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and productivity
- Identify and resolve site issues before they impact project timelines
- Communicate effectively with directors, builders, site supervisors, clients and apprentices
- Mentor apprentices and support their development within the trade
- Ensure projects are completed to a high standard and on schedule.





What we are looking for

- Qualified Roof Plumber (trade qualifications essential)
- Proven experience leading a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on site
