Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitter – Mining

MOLMUC Integrated Engineering is seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitter to support mining maintenance activities across the WA Goldfields.

The Role

- Fixed plant preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Pumps, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors and feeders
- Paste plant and reticulation maintenance
- Underground dewatering systems
- Pipework, valves, flanges and mechanical installations
- Shutdown and reliability maintenance
- Mechanical fault finding and equipment repairs

Requirements

- Recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification or equivalent
- Fixed plant/heavy industry experience
- Mining experience preferred
- Current driver's licence
- Solid safety and mechanical fault-finding skills




- Ability to pass mine-site medical and drug & alcohol screening

Underground, paste plant, dewatering and reticulation experience will be highly regarded.

Remuneration

$60–$70 per hour + superannuation

Equivalent to approximately $118,560–$138,320 base per annum + superannuation, based on 38 ordinary hours per week.

Suitably qualified candidates requiring 482 or 494 visa sponsorship, or an eligible sponsorship transfer, may be considered.
