CELOTTI WORKFORCE is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a major maintenance shutdown project in Darwin, NT FIFO from Brisbane QLD.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a major shutdown project within a heavy industrial environment. The successful candidates will play a key role in replacing cooling fans on Fin Fan air coolers and supporting associated mechanical maintenance activities throughout the shutdown.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Replace approximately 30 cooling fans on Fin Fan air coolers and banks of units.
- Carry out mechanical maintenance and shutdown activities within a heavy industrial environment.
- Assist with the removal, installation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Work safely in accordance with site procedures, permit-to-work systems, and isolation requirements.
- Complete mechanical works efficiently and to a high standard.
- Follow all workplace health and safety requirements.
- Work collaboratively with other trades and maintenance personnel to meet shutdown deadlines.

Our Ideal Candidates:

- Available for induction day in Brisbane 2nd October & fly in day 11th October.
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate | Mechanical Fitter.
- Confined Space & Gas Testing obtained within last 2 years - essential.
- Proven experience in heavy industrial, LNG, shutdown, or maintenance environments.
- Experience working with fans, air coolers, rotating equipment, or similar mechanical equipment highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of site safety and permit-to-work requirements.




- Ability to work 10–12-hour shifts on a 6 days on / 1 day off roster.
- Ability to pass relevant site inductions and medical requirements.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work effectively within a team environment.

What's On Offer:

- $80 per hour flat rate, with Saturday paid at $95 per hour.
- FIFO from Brisbane.
- Approx. 4 weeks of shutdown work.
- 6 days on / 1 day off roster.
- 10–12-hour shifts with a 45-minute break.
- Major shutdown project in Darwin, NT.
- Future shutdown opportunities, with a further project planned for April 2027.
- Immediate prospect to secure work on a major industrial project.
