Storeperson / Forklift Operator

Location: Maryborough, QLD

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Storeperson / Forklift Operator to join our client and assist with the day-to-day operation of their stores facility.

The client is a contractor working within the electricity and power infrastructure industry, with the materials and equipment primarily supporting powerline maintenance and related works.

About the Role

This is a varied, hands-on position involving general stores duties, stock management and material collection.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Receiving, checking and storing materials and equipment

- Maintaining stock levels and keeping the store organised

- Picking and preparing materials for work crews

- Loading and unloading materials using a forklift

- Collecting materials from local supplier and client stores

- General stock control and inventory management

- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work workplace

- Assisting with other general stores duties as required

About You

We are looking for someone who is:





- Reliable, organised and punctual

- Comfortable working independently

- Physically fit and capable of manual handling

- Experienced in stores, warehousing or a similar environment

- Holds a current forklift licence (LF)

- Holds a current truck licence

- Safety-conscious and attentive to detail

- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude

Experience in the electrical, utilities, construction or civil industries will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
