About the Role
As a Catering Attendant, you will assist with food preparation, meal service and dining room operations while supporting residents to enjoy a positive and engaging mealtime experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with food preparation and meal service
- Taking resident meal orders and supporting meal choice
- Delivering exceptional dining and hospitality service
- Monitoring resident meal intake and reporting concerns
- Maintaining food safety,
infection control and hygiene standards
- Supporting special events, celebrations and catering functions
- Using catering software and documentation systems
- Maintaining kitchen and dining areas to a high standard
About You
You are someone who:
- Enjoys working with older people
- Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service
- Has experience in hospitality, catering, food service or aged care
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills
- Understands food safety and infection control principles
- Is reliable, skilled and passionate about quality service
Highly Desirable
- Experience in aged care, healthcare or hospitality
- Food Safety or Food Handler Certificate
- Certificate II in Hospitality or Health Services
