We are looking for a reliable Detailer / Yard Hand to join our well-established and busy Swan Hill branch for an immediate start to help support the team during the busy harvest period. This is a 3-month term, working approximately 25–30 hours per week, with potential for a longer-term opportunity.

About the Role

This role will help ensure new machines are cleaned, prepared and presented to a high standard before delivery, while also supporting general yard organisation and day-to-day branch operations. Working as part of a great team, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of John Deere machinery at one of our busy regional branches. Reporting to the Service Manager, this position will carry out tasks such as:

- Detailing, cleaning and preparing new machines to a high standard before delivery
- Helping improve the overall presentation of machines across the branch
- Assisting with general yard organisation to maintain an efficient and professional work area
- Supporting machine movements around the branch and yard as required
- Completing cleaning and other general day-to-day yard duties




- Liaising with internal teams to help meet delivery timelines
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

What you’ll need:

- Strong attention to detail and pride in presenting machines to a high standard
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Confidence working around machinery, tools and a busy yard environment
- Positive, can-do attitude with initiative, a strong work ethic and the drive to meet deadlines
- Agricultural background or experience working around machinery is welcomed, but not essential
- Commitment to working in a safe manner and sound understanding of OH&S;/WHS practices.
- Excellent and clear Communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Current Driver Licence

Forklift License preferable (not essential)
