About the Role

- Location: Glendenning

- Driver License Requirements: A driver's licence and your own vehicle are not essential.

- Days of Work: Monday to Thursday 2:00pm to 10:00 & Friday 11:00am – 7:00pm

What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as an Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.



This is an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced tradespeople while gaining practical skills and a nationally recognised qualification in the heavy vehicle industry (Certificate III Heavy Vehicle Road Transport).

You will report to the Workshop Manager and will learn to conduct all facets of preventative maintenance and repairs of heavy rigid vehicles including brakes, steering, suspension, hydraulics and fabrication.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a reliable, honest, and self-motivated individual with a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork. You will be eager to learn, able to quickly retain new skills and knowledge and adapt to current tasks and challenges with ease. Importantly, you must be interested in becoming a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic and be ready and willing to commit to the apprenticeship.

You will also:

- Have a genuine interest in the technical aspects of the automative industry and possess natural mechanical aptitude.

- Be committed to workplace health and safety and following all policies and procedures.

- Be reliable and punctual - you show up on time, ready to get the job done.

- Have the ability to work well individually and as part of a team and want to be a part of a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

- Have strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions





All levels of experience are encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Need

- Undertake a company pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.

- Current Australian working rights.

- A driver’s licence and your own vehicle are not essential.
