About the opportunity

We are looking for a Graduate Engineer to join our precontracts team assisting with the building and delivery of tenders on energy infrastructure projects across Australia and New Zealand.

This role will be based in our head office in Hamilton, surrounded by some of the most innovative minds in the energy infrastructure industry, offering a supportive environment of learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the precontracts team with the analysis of technical information, calculations and project planning on assigned projects.
- Assist in preparing project deliverables, tender documentation, design documentation and specifications in line with company standards to meet client requirements.
- Assume responsibility for minor phases of broader project assignments, delivering them accurately and within the agreed timeframe.
- Build relationships with the project teams and across the wider business to support shared project outcomes.
- Engage in continuous learning, stay current with industry technology trends and contribute to the shared knowledge of the team.





What you’ll bring

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or related), completed within last 2 years ideally.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and written communication skills.
- Ability to apply basic theoretical knowledge of engineering principles to analyse, interpret and conclude on standard matters or decisions.
- Good time management skills.
- Desire to succeed as part of a team to achieve shared objectives.
- Desirable: internship, vacation or site experience in construction, utilities, energy or infrastructure.
- Desirable: exposure to substation, HV, transmission, distribution or renewable energy projects.
