We are looking for a passionate Project Engineer to join the team out in Sydney on a $180 million commercial build. We are looking for someone to work in a cooperative work environment in a team of high performers.

What are we looking for?

- 5 years' experience in a similar role working for a head contractor.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent.
- Valid Construction White Card and First Aid Certification.
- Strong understanding of large commercial construction projects.
- Ability to handle the administrative duties of position, including completion of required documents.
- Ability to interpret drawings, plans and blueprints in conjunction with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adhere and meet tight deadlines.
- The ability to build relationships across a wide range of professionals with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to priorities and close out issues to satisfaction of the stakeholders.

What are your responsibilities?

- Assist with the design and technical coordination of building services, including coordination with structural elements,



architectural requirements and other building components.
- Support the Project Manager and Service Manager with the planning, installation, commissioning, compliance and certification of building services.
- Provide technical support and problem-solving throughout the project, including raising, coordinating, monitoring and closing Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve technical, design and construction issues and maintain project progress.
- Assist with identifying, managing and closing defects and punch lists, including coordinating remedial works through to final sign-off.
- Ensure compliance with the Company’s WHS, Environmental and Quality policies, procedures and relevant legislative requirements.
- Undertake project coordination, documentation, reporting and other responsibilities consistent with skills, qualifications and experience as required.
