Molteni&C; is an Italian design brand offering contemporary furniture and interior solutions. Based at its Sydney flagship store in Surry Hills, the Business Development Manager will develop commercial opportunities and build relationships with clients and industry partners.
The right applicant will be responsible for:

- Develop and implement business development and sales strategies for the Australian market.
- Identify opportunities with architects, interior designers, property developers and other commercial clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with recent and existing clients and industry partners.
- Research market trends, client needs and competitor activity to identify areas for growth.
- Develop proposals and present Molteni&C; products and interior solutions to prospective clients.
- Negotiate commercial terms and manage opportunities through to contract completion.
- Work with the showroom and wider team to coordinate client presentations, projects and follow-up.
- Set sales objectives,



monitor performance and report on pipeline activity and revenue forecasts.
- Represent Molteni&C; at industry events and develop networks that support long-term growth.

About you:

- Demonstrated experience in business development and sales strategy, ideally within furniture, interiors, architecture or a related premium market;
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation and presentation skills;
- Ability to identify commercial opportunities and manage a sales pipeline;
- Experience working with architects, designers, developers or commercial clients would be highly regarded;
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 per year
