About the role

This is a hands-on role combining computer repair, business IT support and technology services. You will work with residential and business customers, diagnosing and repairing computer hardware and software issues while also supporting business IT environments. As the business grows, the role will expand into managed IT services, cloud, networking and technology projects.

Key responsibilities

- Primarily diagnose and repair desktop computers, laptops and other IT hardware.

- Perform hardware replacements, upgrades, installations and troubleshooting.

- Diagnose Windows, software, driver and operating-system issues.

- Perform data transfers, system setups and device migrations.

- Provide onsite and remote IT support to business customers.

- Troubleshoot networking, Wi-Fi, printers and connectivity issues.

- Set up and support Microsoft 365 users, devices and applications.

- Install and configure computers, laptops, printers,



network equipment and other technology.

- Assist customers with backups, endpoint protection, patching and general IT maintenance.

- Perform onsite customer visits across the local area.

About you

- 2+ year's experience in computer repair, IT support, systems administration or a similar role.

- Strong experience diagnosing and repairing Windows computers and laptops.

- Good understanding of computer hardware and common components.

- Strong Windows and Microsoft 365 knowledge.

- Valuable understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi.

- Experience troubleshooting printers and network devices.

- Strong customer-service and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs.

- Practical, methodical problem-solving approach.

- Current Australian driver's licence.
