Torode Xocolatl is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Barista's to join our team at East Kew and/or Canterbury Melbourne. If you have a love for coffee and chocolate, a flair for customer service, and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we want to hear from you!

Job Description:
As a Barista you will be the face of our cafe, responsible for crafting high-quality coffee and specialty beverages and providing outstanding service to our customers. Your expertise and passion will contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Barista you will be involved in:

- Coffee and Specialty Beverages Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, including espresso-based beverages, brewed coffee, and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly, efficient, and personalized service to each customer, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Order Taking and POS Operation: Accurately take customer orders, handle cash and card transactions, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.




- Cafe Cleanliness and Organisation: Maintain a clean and organised work area, including the bar, seating area, and equipment.
- Stock and Inventory: Monitor all supplies, including retail products and assist with restocking as needed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment is well maintained and the store is clean and tidy.
- Quality Control: Adhere to quality standards for food and beverage preparation, presentation, and service.

Qualification and Experience:

- Previous experience as a Barista in a cafe or similar environment is highly desirable.
- A passion for coffee and Chocolate and a desire to learn and expand knowledge.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
