What you will do

As a senior assurance analyst, you will help check how well Victoria's emergency management systems work. Your findings will help give government and the community confidence in these systems and guide improvements.

You will report to the manager assurance frameworks. You will:

- help develop and carry out reviews that check how well the emergency management sector is prepared and performs
- help maintain the framework, plans and tools IGEM uses for this work
- review critical infrastructure resilience and emergency management plans across Victoria
- work with other teams, emergency management partners and the community to identify lessons and guide lasting improvements
- represent IGEM at state forums and give advice on emergency management
- write briefs, papers and reports for the Inspector-General, executives and government.

About you

You can examine complex systems, make clear findings and work with others to solve problems. You will bring:

- experience planning and managing projects
- strong research, analysis and investigation skills
- experience developing or using ways to review work and track results
- the ability to work with people across teams and organisations
- sound judgement and the ability to see how parts of a system affect each other.

Knowledge of emergency management is highly desirable. A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable,



but your experience may also meet the needs of the role.
