We’re looking for an experienced Bar Manager to join Bella Vista Hotel and take ownership of our bar operations and beverage experience. This hands-on leadership role combines team management, beverage operations, stock and cost control, and exceptional customer service, with a strong focus on developing our bar team and delivering consistently outstanding guest experiences.

About the Role

As the Bar Manager at Bella Vista Hotel, you’ll play a key role in leading the beverage program and providing extraordinary experiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Set the standard for extraordinary experiences across multiple bars, ensuring every guest leaves wanting more

- Oversee daily bar operations while ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws and licensing regulations

- Lead, hire and train a dynamic bar team that thrives in a high-energy, high-volume environment

- Collaborate with the Group Beverage Manager to develop inventive cocktail lists that showcase global trends and timeless classics





- Manage all beverage operations, from stock and purchasing to quality and inventory control

- Support back-of-house operations including cellar organisation, maintenance and coordinating cleaning

- Perform financial reconciliations, including cash handling and balancing, to ensure accurate financial records

- Manage and supervise all bar staff, including scheduling, training and performance management

- Monitor and analyse bar performance data to identify opportunities for improvement

About You

You’re a passionate, driven and team-oriented professional who thrives in a quick-paced environment.

You bring:

- 3+ years’ experience in venue or bar management within high-volume bars or large-format venues

- Expert cocktail and/or wine knowledge with a knack for creative menu development

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, train and develop a high-performing bar team

- High standards of organisation, a flair for customer interaction and an eye for detail

- Ability to manage budgets, inventory, cost control and financial reconciliations with precision

- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
