Norfolk Foods is a leading value‑added meat manufacturer specializing in sausages, marinated products, and ready‑to‑cook meat lines. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail‑focused QA Monitor to join our Quality team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the QA Monitor ensures food safety, product quality, and compliance across our sausage production and meat‑processing rooms. This role involves daily GMP checks, CCP/CP verification, product inspections, and supporting continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct daily GMP checks across sausage production and meat‑processing areas

- Monitor CCPs, CPs, QCPs and RCPs as per HACCP and Food Safety Plans

- Perform allergen swabbing and environmental monitoring

- Inspect sausages and meat products to ensure all specifications are met (weight, texture, appearance, casing quality, labelling)

- Verify metal detectors, check weighers and other QA devices





- Complete accurate batch control and quality documentation

- Escalate non‑conformances and assist with corrective actions

- Support internal/external audits and customer compliance requirements

- Work closely with production teams to maintain quality standards

About You

- QA experience in meat processing or food manufacturing

- Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety systems

- High attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Reliable, proactive and safety‑focused
