The Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH) is the largest Veterinary hospital in the Southern Hemisphere offering referral services across four Sydney locations. At SASH, our team are committed to providing exceptional care and services to pets, their families, and the veterinary community.

SASH Balgowlah provides 24/7 emergency and specialist veterinary care for pets across Sydney's Northern Beaches and surrounds.
We're currently seeking a warm, professional, and highly organised individual to join our Client Services team in a part-time or casual capacity.

As part of a 24-hour specialist and emergency hospital, you'll work across rotating roster, where no two days are ever the same. Currently, our Client Services department operates between 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.

About the Role:

We are looking part time or casual team members, with availability between 7am to 10pm. As a 24-hour facility, this team will be working a mixture of shifts including evenings and weekends.
Your key responsibilities will include:

- Front of house duties (e.g. greeting clients and managing waiting rooms)
- Managing a high-volume calls and emails across multiple systems.
- Coordination and booking appointments.
- Liaison between clients and the clinical team.
- Handling of cash, EFTPOS and other payments, including processing insurance claims.




- Requesting results, samples and other documents from third parties.

About You:

This role will suit a team player who is passionate about animals and providing excellent customer service.
As a successful applicant you will demonstrate:

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a high-volume reception or administration-based position
- Availability across a rotating 7 day roster
- Proven ability to take initiative and prioritise tasks effectively
- Display a professional and empathetic demeanor
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
