We are looking for a Chef to cook at the Holbrook Hotel & the Woomargama Hotel, 2 country pubs that have been renovated recently.

Qualifications & experience

- Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery or similar.

- Strong culinary skills

- Ability to work well within a team

- Solid organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Creative mindset with a passion for culinary innovation and excellence.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook all dishes to the required high standards

- Plate cooked food ensuring portion sizes are adhered to

- Ensure produce meets the required quality standards

- Maintain equipment and ensure temperatures are regulated

- Ensure budgets are met and wastage is limited

- Adhere to stock rotation practices and preserve produce as necessary

- Inform Chefs of any matters relating to the kitchen or food preparation

- Cook to different dietary requirements

- Assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development,



food preparation, and execution.

- Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen setting in accordance with health and safety regulations.

- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative dishes while adhering to the restaurant's culinary standards and vision.
