In each role, you’ll lead technical delivery across diverse building services projects, guide design and documentation, mentor developing engineers and build trusted client relationships. You’ll work closely with our multidisciplinary team to take projects from concept through to completion while helping shape the growth of your discipline.

What you’ll be doing

- Leading discipline-specific design and delivery across a broad range of building services projects

- Overseeing calculations, drawings,



schedules, specifications and design documentation

- Reviewing outputs and supporting quality assurance across project deliverables

- Mentoring engineers and designers and contributing to a supportive, high-performing team

- Coordinating with DMA’s wider mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire, fire safety and structural teams

- Liaising confidently with clients, architects, contractors, certifiers, authorities and other stakeholders

- Supporting project planning, resourcing, fee input and delivery strategy

- Ensuring designs meet relevant Australian Standards, the National Construction Code and authority requirements

- Strengthening client relationships and contributing to business development and team growth

What you’ll bring

- 7+ years’ experience in your discipline within building services

- A relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification

- Demonstrated experience leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary design inputs

- Strong knowledge of applicable Australian Standards and NCC requirements

- The ability to mentor and support junior and intermediate team members

- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and BIM environments

- Strong communication,



commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions-focused approach

Electrical: Electrical Engineering qualification; RPEQ or a pathway to accreditation; experience across power, lighting, communications, security and dry fire systems.

Fire Protection: Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification; RPEQ and CPEng, or a clear pathway to both; experience in wet and dry fire services design and documentation.

Hydraulic: Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Services Engineering or equivalent qualification; RPEQ or QBCC registration, or a pathway to accreditation; experience across sanitary plumbing, trade waste, water, gas, stormwater, drainage and hydrant/hose reel systems.
