The role

As the Land Development Officer, you will be the key point of contact for external stakeholders regarding property related queries. Depending on experience and skills, you will split your time between our Connections and Information Statements teams.

In Connections, the role involves reviewing, calculating, and applying charges in relation to sewer connection, water main tapping, fire services, backflow prevention and metering requirements to ensure financial sustainability and protection of Gippsland Water’s assets.

In Information Statements, you will need to prepare and process property information statements and land ownership transactions, all while ensuring accuracy and effective records management. The role is also required to identify opportunities to improve systems to enhance efficiency, customer experience and operational effectiveness within Property Services.

an engaging communication style and robust corporate systems skills. You’ll enjoy investigating issues, assessing options and making balanced recommendations to ensure compliance and standards are met, while contributing to the broader team and providing best value service.
