About the role

Working closely with the Director, Operations Manager, PMs, workshop and site teams, you'll be involved across the full project lifecycle for event builds, brand activations, retail shopfitting and custom commercial fit-outs. You'll work on projects from initial pricing and planning through to fabrication, procurement, installation and final delivery. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys the fast paced and highly detailed nature of events and shopfitting.

Key responsibilities

- Estimating and pricing event, activation and shopfitting projects

- Reviewing architectural, design and fabrication drawings

- Preparing detailed project budgets and cost plans

- Preparing scopes and obtaining supplier and subcontractor pricing

- Procurement of trades, materials, finishes and specialist items

- Managing project costs, variations and progress claims

- Contract administration and project documentation

- Programming and coordinating workshop production and site works

- Coordinating event bump-ins, installations and bump-outs

- Managing logistics, transport and site access requirements

About you

- Experience as a Project Manager,



Contract Administrator, Estimator or similar

- Previous experience in events and/or shopfitting

- Strong estimating and project cost-management skills

- Good construction knowledge and ability to read detailed drawings

- Experience with custom joinery, fabrication and specialist finishes

- Strong procurement and subcontractor coordination skills

- Excellent organisation and communication skills

- Confidence dealing directly with clients, designers and suppliers

- The ability to manage several projects and deadlines at once

- Robust attention to detail and commercial awareness

About the Role

You’ll be involved in the commercial side of projects while also being close to design development, fabrication, workshop production, logistics and site delivery.

It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys seeing a project move from a drawing and estimate through to something physically built and installed, and who wants plenty of variety across events, activations and shopfitting projects.
