About the role

As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you will work collaboratively with our team in our Long Day Care environment to provide high-quality education and care, plan and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences that respond to children's individual interests, strengths and developmental needs, and create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and has a strong sense of belonging.

Key responsibilities

- Provide high-quality education and care within our Long Day Care environment

- Plan, implement and contribute to engaging, play-based learning experiences that respond to children's individual interests, strengths and developmental needs

- Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing workplace where every child feels valued and has a strong sense of belonging

- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues

- Support children's learning, development, wellbeing and independence

- Contribute to observations, documentation, programming and reflective practice

- Maintain a strong commitment to children's health, safety and wellbeing

- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive, professional and supportive workplace culture

- Contribute ideas, knowledge and enthusiasm to the ongoing development of our educational program

About you





- Holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or an approved equivalent

- Has a genuine passion for early childhood education and care

- Is committed to providing high-quality learning experiences for children

- Demonstrates a warm, respectful and professional approach

- Builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

- Is reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team

- Brings enthusiasm, initiative and a positive attitude to the workplace

- Is committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child is supported to learn, grow and thrive

- Is available to work rostered shifts between 6:15 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday

- Holds Working With Children Check, Current First Aid and CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management training, and Child Safe Training
