About the Role
Help shape the enterprise capabilities that will bring Swinburne’s Ad Astra 2030 strategy to life.

Working within People & Culture, the Enterprise Capability Development Lead will translate strategic direction into practical, organisation-wide programs that strengthen capability, culture and leadership. Partnering with the Associate Director, Culture, Capability & Leadership, you will lead designated initiatives from discovery and co-design through to piloting, implementation, evaluation and transition into business as usual.

This is a hands-on strategic delivery role for an experienced capability or organisational development professional who can turn complex ideas into clear frameworks, pathways, programs and tools. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, subject-matter experts and external partners, while building strong relationships across People & Culture and the broader university to develop solutions that are evidence-based, inclusive and fit for Swinburne.

You will bring proven experience designing and implementing enterprise capability frameworks, learning architectures or comparable workforce-development systems, together with strong program leadership, analytical judgement and stakeholder influencing skills. Experience within higher education or another complex, knowledge-intensive organisation, as well as exposure to digital fluency, artificial intelligence, innovation or industry-engagement capability programs, will be highly regarded.

Ready to turn strategy into practical programs that build capability across an entire organisation? We would love to hear from you.

• High-level consultation, facilitation and influencing capability with Executive, academic and professional stakeholders.

Qualifications
• Relevant postgraduate qualification and extensive relevant experience; or extensive management experience and proven management expertise; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience in learning organisational development, psychology, education, human resources, business or a related field.
