MAMAS Dining Group is continuing to grow, and we’re looking for experienced Assistant Venue Managers and Supervisors to join our front-of-house leadership teams across our Melbourne venues.

We’re looking for confident hospitality professionals who love being on the floor, know how to lead a great service, and genuinely enjoy developing people and creating memorable guest experiences.

The Opportunity

As an Assistant Venue Manager or Supervisor, you’ll be an important part of the venue leadership team.

You’ll work closely with the Venue Manager and wider leadership team to run smooth services, support the FOH team and maintain the standards that make each MAMAS venue what it is.

This is a hands-on leadership role. We’re looking for people who enjoy being in the middle of service, supporting their team and setting the standard from the floor.

What you’ll be doing

- Leading shifts and supporting smooth, well-organised services

- Creating warm, memorable and genuinely great guest experiences

- Coaching, supporting and developing FOH team members on shift

- Maintaining strong service, presentation and venue standards

- Supporting beverage and wine service, recommendations and upselling

- Assisting with daily venue operations, opening and closing procedures





- Supporting labour management and operational efficiency where required

- Responding calmly and confidently to guest feedback and service challenges

- Ensuring RSA, WHS, food safety and company standards are consistently followed

- Helping build a positive, inclusive and accountable team culture

What we’re looking for

- Experience as an Assistant Venue Manager, Supervisor or senior FOH team member in a busy relevant hospitality environment

- A confident, hands-on leadership style

- Strong service knowledge and a genuine passion for hospitality

- Great communication and people skills

- The ability to coach, motivate and support a team

- A calm, solutions-focused approach during busy services

- Wine and beverage knowledge is highly regarded

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

- Adaptable availability across evenings and weekends

- A current RSA
