If you are an experienced Project Coordinator who enjoys keeping the commercial and operational detail behind projects on track, this is an chance to become an important part of an established Electronic Security team.
Working across multiple projects at different stages of delivery, you will play a key role supporting the Project Managers and ensuring they have accurate, up-to-date information across costs, commitments, forecasts and project requirements.
There is a comprehensive onboarding process in place, giving you the time and support to understand the business, systems and processes properly. As you settle into the role, you will have the opportunity to build your industry knowledge, develop professionally and take greater ownership.
The Opportunity
Your responsibilities will include:
• Maintaining project budgets, forecasts, cost-to-complete and financial reporting.
• Monitoring project costs, commitments and expenditure against budget.
• Supporting variations, claims, invoicing and commercial documentation.
• Coordinating procurement, subcontractors and project requirements.
• Supporting Project Managers with project planning, schedules and customer commitments.
• Maintaining accurate project records, documentation and reporting.
• Tracking project risks, actions and outstanding requirements.
• Liaising with internal teams, suppliers, subcontractors and customers.
• Ensuring project information is accurately maintained across internal systems.
About You
You may currently be working as a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator or in a similar project-focused position. Electronic Security industry experience is preferred, although relevant project experience within ICT, construction or building services will also be considered.
You will ideally have:
• Australian Citizenship is essential to obtain an NV1 Security Clearance, which is required to work with defence customers.
• Previous experience supporting project delivery in a coordination or project support capacity.
• Good commercial understanding, including budgets, forecasting, costs, variations and invoicing.
• Experience coordinating procurement, subcontractors and project requirements.
• The ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
• Confidence working with project documentation, reporting and internal systems.
• Strong Excel skills and good attention to detail.
• A proactive approach and the confidence to follow up actions and keep things moving.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
