Are you confident on the phone, enjoy talking to customers and know how to turn an enquiry into a sale?

We are looking for a motivated Sales Consultant to join an established Australian manufacturing business in a busy, high-performing sales team.

This is not a cold-calling role. You’ll be working with warm leads and genuine customer enquiries, helping customers find the right solution, preparing quotes and following the sales process through to deposit.

With a $70,000 base salary + super + uncapped commission, there is excellent earning potential for someone who enjoys sales and knows how to close a deal.

The role

Working as part of the sales team, you will manage customer enquiries from the initial conversation through to securing the sale.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Contacting and responding to new customer enquiries

- Understanding customer needs and requirements

- Preparing tailored quotes





- Following up customers and outstanding quotes

- Confidently asking for the sale and securing deposits

- Managing pricing and protecting sales margins

- Building rapport and maintaining strong customer relationships

- Keeping customer and sales information updated

About you

We are looking for someone who is comfortable picking up the phone, building rapport quickly and confidently guiding customers through the sales process.

You will ideally have:

- Previous phone-based sales experience

- A proven ability to convert enquiries into sales

- Confidence asking customers for the sale

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Good commercial judgement when discussing pricing

- The ability to manage a steady volume of enquiries and follow-ups

- A positive attitude

- Robust organisation and follow-through

Experience within sheds, building, construction or a similar industry would be an advantage, however industry experience is not essential. If you have strong sales skills and the ability to learn the product, we want to hear from you.
