Anglicare is seeking a Compliance and Standards Coordinator, Disability Services (NDIS) to join our Governance Team based in Canberra. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our Disability Services continue to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred supports that uphold participant rights and achieve positive outcomes.

The core mission of Anglicare (NSW South, West & ACT) is to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty for children, young people and families. We have a particular focus on serving vulnerable communities across the ACT and regional, rural NSW.

Reporting to the Director of Quality and Compliance, the Compliance and Standards Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting quality assurance, compliance monitoring, governance systems, audit activities, continuous improvement initiatives and regulatory reporting across Disability Services. The role works closely with Disability Service Managers, frontline teams and corporate stakeholders to embed a culture of quality, accountability and evidence-based practice.

A brief outline of the position includes:





- Supporting the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Disability Services Quality Management System (QMS).

- Coordinating compliance monitoring activities and maintaining compliance, quality and safeguarding registers.

- Monitoring changes to NDIS legislation, Practice Standards and regulatory requirements.

- Coordinating internal audits and supporting NDIS Commission verification and certification audit preparation.

- Tracking audit findings, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Coordinating the review and maintenance of Disability Services policies, procedures and governance documentation.

- Assisting with incident, complaint and risk trend analysis.

- Preparing quality, compliance and governance reports and dashboards.

- Supporting managers and teams with quality and compliance advice.

About You

The most significant attribute you can bring to this role is your commitment to quality, safeguarding and continuous improvement. You are highly organised, analytical and collaborative, with the ability to build strong working relationships across a range of stakeholders.

You will have:

- Qualifications in Disability, Community Services, Quality Management, Business, Governance or a related discipline.

- Experience in quality assurance, compliance, governance or continuous improvement.





- Sound knowledge of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and NDIS Practice Standards.

- Experience coordinating audits and managing audit evidence.

- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.

- Demonstrated experience maintaining registers, reporting systems and governance documentation.

- Excellent written communication and report-writing skills.

- A high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and organisational information management systems.

Experience working within NDIS-funded services and quality or auditing qualifications will be highly regarded.
