About the role

Medical Skin and Laser is seeking a passionate and experienced Laser/Cosmetic/Surgical Nurse, preferably with a Class IV Laser Exemption (or completion of AACDS/ ASI) to join our agile team on a Part time/Casual basis at our clinics in Kalamunda and East Fremantle, Western Australia. In this key role, you will be working alongside a medical team, responsible for providing high-quality laser treatments and nursing care to our valued clients, helping them achieve their aesthetic goals in a safe and professional environment.

What you'll be doing either some or all of the following:

- Performing a range of laser treatments, including hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and pigmentation reduction, tattoo removal, Vascular lesion and vessel removal using state-of-the-art Class IV laser technology.

- Assessing client suitability for laser and aesthetic treatments, assist in developing and executing customised treatment plans, consenting, and providing expert advice and guidance.

- Performing cosmetic injectable technology

- Assisting in skin surgeries, Laser resurfacing, and vasectomies.

- Performing Wound checks, Suture removal, wound care and Scar Management.

- Ensuring the highest standards of client safety and comfort throughout the treatment process

- Maintaining meticulous records and adhering to all relevant clinical protocols and procedures

- Collaborating with the wider medical team to deliver integrated, patient-centred care

- Covering our cosmeceutical recommendation team, assisting our patients with their best skin care regimens.

- Continuously expanding your knowledge and skills through ongoing training and professional development

What we're looking for

- EN/ Registered Nurse with a valid Class IV Exemption Laser Licence or Graduate of AACDS/ASI.





- Minimum 2 years' experience in laser treatments and/or medical aesthetics. Experience with injectable treatments is preferable, but not essential.

- Experience using Class IV Lasers including: Excel V, Excel V+, Pico Laser- Cutera Enlighten, Co2/ ErbiumRF tightening is preferable, but not essential. Training Provided.

- Experience using other technologies including: RF Micro needling, RF lipolysis Body sculpting with Cutera Trusculpt, LLLT Heallite, Photodynamic Therapy, Dermasweep, is preferable, but not essential. Training Provided.

- Exceptional clinical skills and a deep understanding of laser safety protocols.

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a patient-focused approach

- Commitment to delivering the highest standards of care and customer service

- Adaptability and a willingness to learn, grow, and embrace new technologies.

- Australian work rights required for this position.

- Current AHPRA registration required at time of application.
