Crocodylus Park is one of the Northern Territory's largest tourist attractions. It is home to hundreds of crocodiles as well as a range of Australian native animals and exotic wildlife.

The Position

An opportunity has opened up for a vibrant, innovative and experienced Kiosk/ Gift Shop attendant at Crocodylus Park's gift shop/café. As the first and last interaction guests have when visiting, this is an significant area of the Park and requires the right person. Reporting directly to senior management, this role requires a strong work ethic with the right attitude and experience to manage and help drive change with a goal of improving visitor's experiences.

The ongoing responsibilities of the position are:

Ensure the highest possible standards for customer service, health and safety are upheld;

Make a variety of food in our small kitchen

Monitor stock and inventory levels using POS software for the gift shop, leather goods, food and drinks.

Develop creative ways of presenting souvenirs and leather goods on display;





Ensure the gift shop and snack bar are always clean tidy and presentable;

Support other departments with the co-ordination of trade shows, function and family days.

Actively seek and develop ways to improve the services provided to guests.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will:

Have previous experience in retail/hospitality/tourism;

Outstanding customer service skills;

A supportive and team oriented style;

Be comfortable operating in a fast paced and demanding work environment;

The ability to build and foster relationships with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders;

Experience in inventory management, stock control and ordering using POS Software.

An eye for detail, a solid work ethic; and,

A passion and enthusiasm for problem solving and driving change and improvements;

Most importantly a positive attitude to do what it takes to succeed – with a smile.

This role includes weekend and public holiday work.
