The State Manager – Victoria / Tasmania, is instrumental in developing and improving Stoddart’s market share for a variety of food service equipment and brands. As a senior sales role in the food service industry, success can be demonstrated through an ability to quickly establish rapport with a variety of stakeholders, inspired leadership of a motivated sales team and meticulous attention to detail.

More specifically your duties will include the following:

- Generate leads

- Liaise with marketing regarding new product and existing product campaigns

- Secure profitable sales by actioning referred enquiries from various sources

- Develop or maintain appropriate relationships with existing customers and dealers

- Liaise with various departments to ensure stock levels and production dates meet customer/dealer delivery expectations





- Resolve escalated customer issues

- Provide input into setting of team sales targets and budgets

- Monitor and control sales budget, including team member sales targets and other KPIs

- Manage staff performance with a view to continuous improvement

- Undertake basic staff administration

- Intermediate level of computer and technical skills in computer software including Enterprise Resource Planning Software and Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams

- Ability to demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills incorporating MS Office

- Ability to develop product knowledge over time

- Ability to work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders

- Ability to comprehend customer requirements

- Ability to utilise subject matter experts

- Ability to efficiently delegate tasks across all of team
