About the Role

Queensland X-Ray is seeking a motivated and patient-focused Registered Nurse to join our growing Toowoomba team on a full-time basis.
As we continue to expand our services, we are looking for a Registered Nurse to support a broad range of medical imaging procedures and patient care activities.

This position is rostered Monday to Friday, working 7.6-hour shifts with start times between 7:00am, 8.00am and 8:30am.
Following successful completion of a 5-month probation period, you will participate in a rotating on-call roster, covering weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

Remuneration: Registered Nurse Level 5.2 to 5.7

Working both autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver high-quality patient care while contributing to a safe, supportive and positive patient experience. You will bring sound clinical judgement, strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Previous medical imaging experience is not required, as comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided. In this role, you will coordinate patient care, assist with clinical procedures,



contribute to care planning, and work closely with radiologists, medical imaging professionals and other healthcare providers.

The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, professionalism and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centred care, while maintaining high standards of clinical practice and teamwork.

About you

- AHPRA registration required, with no limitations or restrictions
- 2 years minimum general nursing experience in a hospital setting as a Registered Nurse (required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional time management skills with sound decision making under pressure
- Sharp attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Friendly, caring and compassionate nature with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Passion for providing excellent customer service and patient care
- Peripheral intravenous cannulation skills (desirable)
- Current basic life support (required)
- Advanced life support (desirable)
