The Chance

The successful applicant will join an experienced and supportive Mathematics department, teaching students across Years 7-12.

We are seeking an excellent classroom practitioner who can inspire students, build their confidence and encourage a genuine interest in Mathematics. You will be comfortable supporting students with differing abilities and contributing positively to a professional and collaborative faculty.

Key Responsibilities Include

- Delivering engaging and appropriately challenging Mathematics lessons across Years 7-12
- Planning and implementing high-quality learning experiences that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Differentiating curriculum and teaching practices to support individual student development
- Using technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning
- Assessing student progress and providing meaningful, timely feedback
- Contributing to faculty planning, curriculum development and professional collaboration




- Supporting the wider academic and co-curricular life of the school
- Building positive and respectful relationships with students, colleagues and families

About you:

To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate:

- Experience and proven teaching ability in Years 7-12 Mathematics
- Excellent classroom practice and strong curriculum knowledge
- The ability to deliver engaging lessons with creativity and academic rigour
- Strong ICT skills and confidence incorporating technology into learning
- The ability to differentiate curriculum for a range of learning needs
- A flexible, collegial and team-focused approach
- A genuine commitment to supporting the academic and personal development of students
- Current or eligible NESA accreditation
- A valid NSW Working with Children Check

*Experience teaching senior Mathematics would be highly regarded.
