About the role

We have two exciting fixed term opportunities in our Community Development and Participation team, commencing on 11 January 2027 until 30 June 2027, based at Moruya. One position is full-time and one position is part-time (four days per week). The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high quality community development and administrative support to ensure that the Y Drive program meets the project aims and objectives.

The starting salary for this position is $40.42 per hour, plus 12% superannuation.

About you

You are a passionate, community-focused professional with experience working with young people and culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Whether through formal qualifications or equivalent experience, you have a proven ability to build positive relationships, engage diverse groups, and deliver inclusive programs that create meaningful community outcomes. Your strong communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills allow you to connect effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Organised and collaborative, you have experience leading staff or volunteers to foster a positive team environment while planning and delivering high-quality community projects. You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook, and are motivated by making a genuine difference through community-centred initiatives that promote participation, inclusion and connection.
