An established and growing specialist contractor delivering potable water reservoir inspection, condition assessment, remediation and capital works across Queensland and New South Wales is seeking a Project Engineer to join its expanding delivery team.

With complete in-house capability spanning engineering, diving, construction and project delivery, this business takes full ownership of the projects it delivers, from initial assessment through to final handover. With a strong and growing pipeline of secured work across SE Queensland, this is a genuinely hands-on role where you will be working across live sites alongside experienced Project Managers, Site Supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers on a diverse mix of capital and maintenance works. You will not be doing one small piece of a large project. You will be across the delivery of real infrastructure, building practical skills and developing at pace.

About the Business

This is not a typical civil contractor. The business specialises in the inspection, condition assessment and remediation of potable water reservoirs and civil water infrastructure, operating as both engineer and constructor across its project portfolio. Clients include major water utilities and Tier 1 contractors across Queensland and New South Wales.

The business holds ISO 22000 food grade certification,



the only diving and construction company in Australia to hold this qualification, and carries third-party accreditation across quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems. Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day engineering support across civil and water infrastructure capital works and maintenance projects
- Assist with coordinating site activities, subcontractors, suppliers and construction resources across multiple concurrent work fronts
- Review drawings, specifications and technical requirements and ensure works are constructed in accordance with approved designs
- Prepare and maintain ITPs, inspection records, quality documentation and site reports including daily diaries
- Assist with RFIs, variations, procurement and project documentation, supporting the Project Manager with commercial administration
- Conduct site inspections and support the resolution of technical and construction issues as they arise
- Support compliance with WHS legislation, quality standards and environmental requirements across all site activities
- Liaise professionally with clients, subcontractors,



supervisors and project stakeholders

About You

- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Some site-based experience within civil construction, water, utilities or infrastructure, whether through graduate programs, summer placements or early-career roles
- A practical understanding of construction drawings, quality documentation and site processes
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple work fronts
- Confident communicating with supervisors, subcontractors and project stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive, get-it-done approach to solving site-based challenges
- Comfortable working across SE Queensland project sites with some regional travel
