Permanent Part-Time | Monday–Thursday, 5 hours/day (~20 hrs/week), plus occasional Fridays as needed (roughly once a month). Flexible start times.

HIMOD is a fast-growing, Sunshine Coast-based company designing and distributing premium LED tail lights and accessories, built for harsh Australian conditions. We're a distributor for some of the best 4x4 and streetcar brands around the globe, and a fast-paced, action-oriented team bringing products to customers all over Australia and New Zealand.

Originally launched in 2019, the HIMOD range now includes over 20 vehicle-specific tail lights and many more accessories, and we've built a reputation as a fast-growing, disruptive force in the automotive lighting industry. HIMOD is our flagship brand, and it's just the start: as the business grows, there's genuine scope to get involved with new product ranges and ventures we're building alongside it.

We're a tiny team, so you'll work closely with the founder, and everyone pitches in. There's no big HR department, no layers of management and no one to hide behind. If you'd prefer a larger, more corporate workplace, this probably isn't the role for you. If you like knowing exactly who you work for and seeing the difference you make, you'll fit right in.

The Role

This is a hands-on, practical role for someone reliable and organised who enjoys clear day-to-day tasks. You'll be the friendly voice behind our online customer service, the engine room behind getting orders out the door, and the person keeping our stock data accurate so we reorder at the right time. Full training is provided on our systems and products, with clear direction and support as you learn.

You'll report directly to the founder, who'll train you and be your go-to for questions, approvals and anything outside the day-to-day.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service





- Respond to customer and supplier enquiries with a professional, can-do attitude

- Process orders within 24–48 hours, courteously and on time

- Flag recurring customer feedback, trends or ideas to the founder

Order Fulfilment & Warehouse

- Pick, pack and ship orders from our warehouse

- Keep the warehouse tidy and organised

- Carry out regular stocktakes

Stock, Forecasting & Supply

- Track stock levels and sales data so we always know what's on hand and what's moving

- Enter stocktake and sales data into our forecast to work out upcoming stock needs

- Monitor stock against agreed thresholds and flag when a reorder is due

- Build reorders from the forecast and send them to our supplier, following our standard process (fully trained, and reviewed by the founder / general manager for the first few orders)

- Handle day-to-day communication with suppliers on orders, ETAs and incoming shipments, under the founder's direction

- Track incoming stock and keep ETAs up to date

eCommerce

- Keep website product listings and stock status accurate and up to date

- Day-to-day courier liaison

About You

You've done customer service before, you're comfortable online, and you like knowing how things work behind the scenes of an eCommerce store. We'll teach you our products and systems; you bring the customer skills.

- Real, hands-on customer service experience, plus an interest in eCommerce or solid general tech skills

- Comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets),



since a valuable part of the role is stock data and forecasting

- Organised, reliable, sharp attention to detail

- Comfortable with Shopify (or similar), with full training provided

- Clear communicator, calm under a bit of pressure

- You don't need to be a car person. We're an automotive brand, but we'll teach you everything you need to know about our products and the vehicles they fit. It's easy to pick up.

- Orders are processed and shipped accurately, on time, every time

- Customer and supplier enquiries are handled promptly and professionally

- Stock data and forecasts are kept accurate and up to date

- Reorders are built from the data, sent on time, and stock arrives before we run short

- Website listings and stock status are always accurate

- The warehouse stays clean and organised

Pay & Conditions

- $38–42/hour including super, depending on experience

- 6-month probation period

- Annual and personal leave (permanent part-time)

- Yearly wage review

- Occasional Friday shifts (roughly monthly) paid at the same rate, by agreement

- We close over Christmas/New Year
