About the role
We're looking for a friendly, happy and reliable Casual Retail Team Member to join our team, working across Binnorie Dairy and Smelly Cheese in Lovedale, Hunter Valley. This is a casual position with rostered shifts across Monday to Sunday. Our trading hours for both stores are 9:30am–5:00pm, 7 days a week.
Key responsibilities
- Providing friendly and welcoming customer service
- Serving and talking to customers about our cheeses and products
- Making fresh sandwiches and simple food items
- Serving cheese,
ice cream and other retail products
- Operating the register and handling customer purchases
- Keeping the retail area clean, stocked and inviting
- Making coffees when required
About you
- A friendly, positive attitude and a genuine smile
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Reliable and able to work well within a team
- Availability for rostered weekday and weekend shifts
- Comfortable preparing, handling and serving food
- Food Handling Certificate (Preferred)
- Current RSA if you are 18 years or over
- Retail or hospitality experience – preferred but not essential
- Barista experience (Preferred)
