We're seeking an experienced NPD Manager to lead the development and delivery of our product innovation pipeline across the Sunny Queen portfolio. In this pivotal role, you'll turn consumer insights, category trends, market intelligence and commercial opportunities into successful new products, packaging initiatives and business growth opportunities.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll drive innovation projects from concept through to launch, ensuring our product portfolio continues to meet evolving customer needs while supporting Sunny Queen's strategic objectives.

What You’ll Do:

- Coordinate consumer and customer research programs from brief development through to fieldwork, sample requirements, stakeholder alignment, results interpretation and presentation of key implications.
- Develop NPD recommendations, balancing brand direction, commercial targets, category dynamics, manufacturing capability, margin expectations and customer requirements.
- Manage the innovation pipeline governance process, including chance assessment, prioritisation, milestone tracking, risk escalation, resource alignment and regular reporting to support timely decision-making.
- Develop in-depths market insights, consumer research, and brand health check to support strategic and tactical decisions to deliver overall business objectives (market trends domestic and international, competitor analysis, consumer segmentation, sales data analysis, market research).
- Maintain the product innovation pipeline, including opportunity assessment, project prioritisation, milestone visibility, risk escalation, resource coordination and regular pipeline reporting.
- Mange NPD projects and stage-gate process, including gate preparation, administration, business case support, decision records, action tracking and post-launch review.
- Develop in conjunction with key stakeholders launch plans for new and existing products, ensuring activity is aligned with portfolio strategy, customer needs, sales priorities and agreed commercial measures.




- Prepare innovation reports and decision-ready presentations, including pipeline updates, project dashboards, launch readiness updates, range review inputs and management recommendations.
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Quality, Packaging, Finance, Supply Chain and external agencies to resolve project blockers and deliver agreed product, packaging and launch outcomes.
- Monitor in-market performance after launch and recommend optimisation actions across product, packaging, ranging, pricing, promotion, communication and customer support materials.

What You’ll Bring:

- Minimum of 4–5 years’ experience in product, category, innovation or FMCG marketing roles, with demonstrated ownership of product or portfolio outcomes.
- Proven capability managing NPD, packaging or innovation projects through structured approval processes, including timelines, documentation, launch readiness and stakeholder governance.
- Strong analytical capability across category, consumer, competitor, sales and commercial data, with the ability to form clear recommendations and influence decisions.
- Experience coordinating consumer research, product samples, packaging artwork, launch materials or customer-facing innovation requirements.
- Highly competent in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, including preparation of management presentations, project trackers, reporting packs and commercial summaries.
- Strong cross-functional project management skills, with the confidence to follow up actions, escalate risks and keep stakeholders aligned to agreed milestones.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare concise briefs, recommendations, launch updates and stakeholder communications.
