We are seeking an experienced Stonemason to join a busy and professional stone fabrication team based in Campbellfield.
This is a outstanding opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for consistent Monday-Friday hours, competitive hourly rates, overtime opportunities and a strong focus on workplace health and safety.
The Role
Working alongside an experienced team, you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality stone benchtops from detailed plans and specifications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cutting, shaping and polishing marble, granite, porcelain and engineered stone
- Fabricating and assembling stone benchtops
- Reading and interpreting plans and measurements
- Calculating angles and dimensions accurately
- Operating a range of specialised machinery and hand tools
- Using various adhesives and glues during fabrication
- Maintaining a high standard of quality and workmanship
- Following all WHS policies and secure working practices
What We're Looking For
- Previous stonemasonry experience
- Must be Permanent Resident or Citizen
- Experience in stone benchtop fabrication
- Ability to read plans and work accurately from measurements
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and honest work ethic
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant trade qualification is advantageous
- Overhead crane licence is desirable
What's On Offer
- $35-45 per hour, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm
