About the role
We are looking for a talented and experienced Tailor to join our team at Atelier Alterations, located in the heart of Melbourne CBD.
This is a casual position, offering flexibility to suit your schedule.
What you'll be doing
Performing a wide range of alterations, including hemming, taking in/letting out,shortening/lengthening,and more
Working with precision to achieve the best possible fit and finish
Using industrial and standard sewing machines confidently
Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
Supporting the team to deliver excellent service and uphold our reputation
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Tailor or Dressmaker
Strong technical skills in garment alterations and construction
Experience working with men's suiting (highly regarded)
Ability to work across different garment types (men's, women's, etc.)
High attention to detail and quality workmanship
Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
