About Our Client

Job Description
Lead the preparation and delivery of quarterly and annual group consolidations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across the business
Prepare consolidation schedules, investigate reporting variances, and provide analysis of underlying balances and transactions
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journals, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities
Partner with the Financial Controller to maintain the integrity of financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
Interpret and apply IFRS and Australian Accounting Standards, providing guidance on technical accounting matters and disclosures
Take ownership of group audit requirements, coordinating audit schedules, supporting documentation, and responses to auditor requests
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external accounting and audit firms to meet reporting deadlines and compliance requirements
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of financial reporting and consolidation processes
Identify and elevate significant accounting, reporting,



and compliance matters while providing insights to support business decision-making
The Successful Applicant
CA qualified (or CPA qualified with strong IFRS experience) with proven senior accounting experience in group consolidations and financial reporting
Strong technical accounting capability, including a solid understanding and application of IFRS and Australian Accounting Standards
Demonstrated experience managing audit schedules, supporting documentation, and audit queries
Advanced Excel skills with a proven track record of working across complex formulas, lookups, reconciliations, and PivotTables
A collaborative and proactive qualified who is comfortable and confident in engaging with finance, internal, and external stakeholder groups
Comfortable and capable of completing ad-hoc tasks to assist the broader finance function
Proven track record of managing competing deadlines
Exposure to Pronto Xi or similar ERP system is advantageous
