The Role

Compliance Officer
to help keep the businessoperatingat its best.
You'll own compliance across the business - making sure the foundations aresolidso the team can move fast with confidence.You'llbe responsible formanaging the company's overall compliancepoliciesand processes, with a key focus on leading the introduction and ongoing management ofour
AML/CTF
function aheadofthe Tranche 2 reforms.
You'redetail-driven,structured,and comfortable taking ownership.You'llwork closely with leadership and the wider team to make compliance practical, embedded and second nature - not something people have to think twice about.
WhatYou'llBe Doing
Owning andmaintainingthe business's overall compliancepolicies and processesincludinglicensing, CPD, contractexecution, privacy, conduct, consumer protection andFair Tradingrequirements
Serving as the key AML compliance lead in the business,



responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of all AML obligations
Implementing a new AML platform across the business
Ensuring AML checks are completed for all clients, including identity verification, customer due diligence, financial crime riskassessmentsand enhanced due diligence whererequired
Acting as the primary liaison with AUSTRAC (the financialcrime regulator) andsubmittingreportsin line with legislative requirements
Delivering AML/CTF training and guidance tosalesand support staff, and building a strong risk culture
Serving as the key point of contact for AML/CTF-related queries across the business
