Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care across theatre settings
Perform Scrub/Scout,



Anaesthetic or Recovery nursing duties in accordance with clinical standards
Prepare theatre environments, equipment and instrumentation for surgical procedures
Assist surgeons and multidisciplinary teams during operative procedures
Monitor and assess patients throughout the perioperative journey
Maintain infection prevention and sterile field standards
Ensure accurate documentation and clinical record keeping
Participate in patient safety, quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives
Support patients and families through the surgical experience
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture
Requirements
Registered Nurse with current registration or eligibility for AHPRA registration
Minimum 2-3 years post-registration Theatre Nursing experience in the UK or Irish Healthcare System
Recent experience in
Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics and/or Recovery
Experience across a range of surgical specialties
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Commitment to patient-centred care and evidence-based practice
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced theatre environment
Commitment to ongoing career development
