WearelookingforaskilledMaintenanceFitterwithspecialistthermoformingexperiencetojoinanestablishedfoodmanufacturingoperationinWesternAustralia.
Thisopportunityissuitedtosomeonewhodoesmorethangeneralmaintenance.Weareseekingatechnicianwhounderstandshowthermoformingandautomatedpackagingequipmentshouldoperate,canidentifyfaultsquickly,andhasthepracticalexperiencetokeepcomplexproductionsystemsrunningreliably.
ExperiencewithMULTIVACthermoformingequipmentwillbehighlyregarded,particularlyforcandidateswhocandemonstrategenuinehands-onexperiencewithforming,heating,sealing,vacuum,cuttingandautomatedpackagingsystems.
Theroleofferspermanentfull-timeemployment,competitiveconditions,ongoingdevelopmentandtheopportunitytobuildalong-termcareerwithinamodernmanufacturingenvironment.
Key Responsibilities
Carryoutpreventativeandbreakdownmaintenanceacrossthermoformingandpackagingequipment
Identifymechanicalfaultsandrestoreequipmenttoreliableoperatingcondition
Diagnoseissuesaffectingthermoforming,sealing,heatingandvacuumsystems
Maintainformingstations,heatingplatesandsealingstations
Troubleshootpneumaticandcompressedairsystems
Workwithservo-drivenmachineryandautomatedproductionequipment
Maintainfilmfeed,tensioncontrolandpackagingsystems
SupportvacuumpackagingandMAPequipment
Completetoolingchangesandassistwithmachineoptimisation
Performproductionlinechangeoversandequipmentadjustments
Investigaterecurringmachineryfailuresandidentifyrootcauses




Implementmaintenanceimprovementstoincreaseequipmentreliability
Workwithproductionandengineeringteamstoreducedowntime
Assistwithinstallation,setupandcommissioningofnewmachinery
Respondefficientlytoproductionbreakdownsandurgentmaintenancerequirements
Maintainaccurateandsafemaintenancepracticesinaccordancewithworkplaceprocedures
Requirements & Eligibility
Trade-qualifiedMaintenanceFitterorMechanicalTradesperson
Demonstratedhands-onexperienceinmanufacturing,foodprocessing,packagingorasimilarproductionenvironment
Provenpracticalexperiencemaintainingthermoformingmachinery
Strongunderstandingofthermoformingprocessesandequipment
MULTIVACexperiencehighlyregarded
ExperiencewithMULTIVACR-Seriesthermoformersadvantageous
Knowledgeofvacuumpackagingandautomatedpackagingequipment
Strongmechanicalfault-findingandtroubleshootingability
Experiencewithpneumaticandhydraulicsystems
Understandingofheating,forming,sealing,cuttingandpunchingsystems
Abilitytoworkconfidentlywithhigh-speedproductionmachinery
Strongpreventativemaintenanceknowledge
Abilitytoworkindependentlyandrespondeffectivelytobreakdowns
Goodcommunicationandteamworkskills
