The Role
Work will involve a variety of general property maintenance and repair work, which may include:
General handyman repairs and maintenance
Carpentry and timber repairs
Patching, plastering and painting
Door, lock and hardware repairs/installation
Fencing and gate repairs
Caulking and sealing
General home and property repairs and installations
Basic garden/property maintenance
Other residential and commercial maintenance work depending on your skills and experience
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has solid, genuine hands-on experience as a handyman or in property maintenance
Can confidently assess jobs, problem-solve and complete work independently
Takes pride in the quality of their workmanship
Is reliable, punctual and professional
Has good communication and customer service skills
Has theirown reliable vehicle
Has theirown tools and equipment suitable for general handyman work
Holds anABN
Has appropriate public liability insurance
Has a current Australian driver's licence
Practical hands-on experience is more important to us than formal qualifications.
A trade qualification or background in carpentry, building, painting or another relevant trade is an advantage, but we are primarily looking for someone who has proven experience, practical skills and the ability to get the job done properly.
