Job Description
Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking an Aboriginal Health Worker at Maitland Hospital to support patients who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
You will promote culturally secure care, maintain regular contact, advocate for patients, and connect them with support services for safe discharges across Emergency, Surgical & Medical Wards, ICU and Paediatrics.
The role is temporary part-time (16 hours/week) until August ****, with salary of $*****–$***** per hour plus
