Position - Cook
Cove Kitchen | Newcastle Airport, NSW
Casual | Approximately 30 hours per week
Rotating roster | 12:30pm – 8:30pm shifts | Weekdays & nights

We're looking for a Cook to join our friendly team at Cove Kitchen, Newcastle Airport.
You'll be part of a team where everyone plays a role, whether that's preparing a great meal, helping a customer with a smile, keeping the kitchen running smoothly or simply lending a hand when it's needed.
Job Description
What your day might look like
Preparing and cooking delicious food for our customers
Bulk cooking and food preparation
Serving customers and creating a welcoming experience
Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and ready for service
Dishwashing and general kitchen duties
Working independently while knowing you've got a team around you
Following food safety and hygiene standards
Desired Skills and Experience
What you'll bring
Food Safety Supervisor certificate
Experienced in cooking in a commercial kitchen or hospitality environment
Reliable and happy to get stuck in wherever needed
Comfortable working independently
A team player who is willing to help others
Available to work a rotating roster, including weekdays and nights
