**CARPENTER****BodonHomes Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis, undertaking residential construction work in Williamstown North and surroundingareas.
****Location:Williamstown North VIC****Employment Type: Full-time (38 hours per week)****Salary: $86,500 per annum plussuperannuation****Aboutthe Role****We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to undertake a range of carpentry work across residential construction projects.
The successful applicant will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing and finishing timber and other building components in accordance with plans andspecifications.
****KeyResponsibilities*****Read and interpret building plans, drawings and specifications.
*** **Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and other construction materials.
*** **Construct and install wall frames, roof framing, floor systems and other structural components.
*** **Install doors, door frames, windows, architraves, skirting boards and other fixtures.
*** **Construct and install internal and external timber structures and fittings.
*** **Carry out first-fix and second-fix carpentry work.
*** **Install flooring, cladding and other building components where required.
*** **Inspect and repair existing timber structures and fittings.
*** **Ensure completed work is level, plumb,



accurately measured and finished to the required standard.
*** **Operate hand tools, power tools and carpentry equipment safely.
*** **Coordinate with supervisors, builders and other trades on construction sites.
*** **Ensure all work complies with relevant building requirements, plans and workplace health and safety procedures.
*** **Maintain tools, equipment and a clean and protected workenvironment.
****Qualificationsand Experience*** **Minimum three (3) years of relevant work experience as a Carpenter.
*** **Relevant trade qualification in carpentry is highly regarded.
*** **Demonstrated experience in residential construction and carpentry.
*** **Strong knowledge of framing, fixing and general carpentry techniques.
*** **Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings and specifications.
*** **Ability to accurately measure, cut and assemble construction materials.
*** **Good knowledge of construction and workplace safety requirements.
*** **High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
*** **Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
