About the role and where you will be working:
As a Mental Health Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high quality, person centred care to individuals experiencing mental illness.
Working closely within a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to recovery focused and trauma informed practices across both sites.
This is a permanent part time position, working 4 days per fortnight across two of our aged care residential facilities:
Frank Prendergast House in Success
Margaret Hubery House in Rossmoyne
We'll also be asking you to:
Undertake comprehensive mental health assessments and collaboratively develop care plans
Administer and monitor medications, including psychotropic drugs
Provide crisis intervention and ongoing risk assessment
Educate and support clients and their families/carers through their recovery journey
Maintain accurate clinical documentation using electronic health systems
Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Participate in care reviews, team meetings, and quality improvement activities
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Demonstrated understanding of the Mental Health Act **** (WA)
Experience working with clients with severe and persistent mental illness




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Competence using clinical systems for documentation and care planning
A current WA Driver's Licence
Provide First Aid and CPR Certificate
