Acting as a trusted representative for customers throughout the claims process, the business helps navigate complex insurance matters, liaises directly with insurers and supports customers from claim lodgement through to resolution.
With ongoing growth and a strong reputation in the market, they are seeking an experienced Claims Consultant to join their collaborative team.
About the Role
As aClaims Consultant, you'll manage a portfolio of insurance claims from start to finish, acting as the customer's advocate throughout the entire claims journey.
You'll work closely with customers, insurers, assessors, and internal stakeholders to progress claims, provide guidance, manage expectations and ensure positive outcomes are achieved.
Claims can vary in complexity and duration, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships and taking ownership of outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of insurance claims from lodgement through to resolution
Act as the primary point of contact and advocate for customers throughout the claims process
Liaise directly with insurance companies, assessors and other external stakeholders
Provide regular updates and guidance to customers regarding claim progress
Prepare,



review and manage claim documentation and supporting evidence
Proactively progress claims and follow up outstanding actions
Manage customer expectations throughout the lifecycle of a claim
Handle complaints and difficult conversations professionally and empathetically
Advocate on behalf of customers while maintaining robust stakeholder relationships
Manage multiple claims at varying stages simultaneously
Maintain accurate records across multiple systems and platforms
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll be a confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills and previous experience managing insurance claims.
You'll be comfortable navigating complex conversations, advocating for customers, and maintaining momentum across multiple active claims.
Ideally, You'll Have:
Previous insurance claims experience
Experience dealing directly with insurance companies and/or assessors
Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Confidence handling complaints and challenging conversations
Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
The ability to advocate for customers while remaining professional and solutions-focused
Exceptional organisation and attention to detail
Experience managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines
Confidence working across various systems and technology platforms
What They Can Offer
$***** per hour + Super
Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
