About the role
We are seeking experienced and compassionate nurses to join the teams at Northern Beaches Hospitals and Randwick Hospitals in Sydney, NSW.
These arecasual positionsoffering flexibility and the chance to work across a variety of medical and surgical wards.
You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, supporting clinical teams, and contributing to positive patient outcomes in fast-paced hospital environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for nurses seeking casual work .
Key responsibilities
Providing direct patient care, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation
Assisting with medical and surgical procedures under the direction of senior clinical staff
RN's Administering medications and treatments as prescribed and in accordance with nursing protocols
Maintaining accurate and timely patient records and clinical documentation
Communicating effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care
Supporting patients and their families by providing information, emotional support, and assistance with daily care needs
Adhering to infection control practices, safety protocols,



and hospital policies
Responding promptly to patient requests and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner
Contributing to a safe and supportive ward environment for patients and staff
What we're looking for
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Relevant nursing experience 2nd and 3rd Year nursing students
Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Current certificates in Basic Life Support, mask fitting , infection control, Hand hygiene and manual handling
Current vaccinations and serology as per hospital requirements
Ability to work flexibly across varying shifts and ward areas
Current working visa , WWC and Police checks , 2 references , years of service or clinical results, Stat declaration for overseas born applicants
