This is an exciting opportunity to lead and influence the delivery of high-quality, culturally responsive services for Aboriginal children, young people and families.
Working closely with senior leaders, communities and key stakeholders, you will drive strategic initiatives that strengthen outcomes for Aboriginal families and support the Department's commitment to culturally safe and effective service delivery.
Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of policies, programs and initiatives relating to Aboriginal children and families, undertaking complex research and providing strategic advice that supports the Department's priorities and Government objectives.
Provide expert, solution-focused advice to District and Executive leadership on Aboriginal service delivery, ensuring services are responsive to the needs and aspirations of Aboriginal children, families and communities.




Develop and deliver cultural learning and capability-building strategies, including mentoring, coaching, training and fostering robust partnerships with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations and local Aboriginal communities.
Drive continuous improvement through the implementation of quality assurance and monitoring frameworks that enhance service quality, accountability and outcomes for Aboriginal children and their families.

Opportunities Available
There are 2 full-time fixed-term positions available in Mirrabooka and Fremantle (however can be based anywhere for suitable applicant) for 10 months with possibility of extension/permanency.
This recruitment pool may be used to fill various fixed term or permanent, full-time and part-time positions arising within the next 12 months.
